This journey of living the Love is very often extremely intense. We’ve all been taught to withhold Love, to deny Love, to refuse Love. We’ve been taught that Love is totally conditional, when, in fact, it’s the exact opposite. Is it any wonder that so often people just throw in the towel and decide “it’s too hard!!!!” That’s one of the things I hear every single day – “But Reverend Jennifer, it’s SOOOO HARD to be loving.” I get it. I really, truly do.
In the video I posted today, I say that learning to live AS Love and BE loving in every moment – to be patient, kind, compassionate, and LIGHT-hearted, to the best of my ability has been the most difficult thing I’ve ever learned to do AND it gets easier every day. This practice has KICKED MY BUTT! I often joke that it has kicked my butt so hard, I now have a whole new butt! Never mind about Shape Ups for transforming your butt – just decide to be loving in every moment. PHEW!
The good news is, we’re doing it together. We can laugh about it. We can have compassion for each other each and every time we fall down. We can pick ourselves up with compassion and then IMMEDIATELY we’re back in the flow of Love. Forgiveness IS Love. Compassion IS an active expression of your Divinity.
My mantra is: I choose Love & Love chooses me!
I hold my mantra in my mind, day in and day out, and I look for the places where I can LOVE OUT LOUD – LOL! I get excited about any opportunity that I can simply BE loving – for a long, long time I needed the practice, and now it is my knee-jerk reaction. Love is the healer. Always. If there’s any challenge at all, apply Love, breathe deeply, let Love lead you, and be willing, always willing to Love.
