A deep inner knowing of the spiritual reality is what I treasure most of all the gifts that I have. Knowing the truth is the rock that I’ve built my life upon.  I love the times in my life when I can view my inner landscape from the most high place of knowing. Like the athlete that pushes past her personal best, it is such a joy to break through to a more enlightened state than I’ve known in the past.

René Daumal said “You cannot stay on the summit for ever; you have to come down again … So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art to conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least know.”

Today, I take time to get still and remember that place of the most high within myself. I commit to a practice of coming from my inner place of knowing.

I AM in touch with the knower who knows.

  • Dear Jennifer,

Yes!! Accountability.. Yes! Yes! I agree with you. I have had many teachers that did not have integrity and they used people who had big hearts.. and then did not acknowledge who was there.. and who gave and supported..

keeping the commitments from student to teacher and from teacher to students.
Thank you so much for being so real.. and so.. honest.. and grounded.
    with love,
    Laurie Schwartz-Friedman
