It took me about 40 years of human life to realize that I really wasn’t that receptive. Phew! I believed that I had to give to get. I thought almost everything had strings attached. Madness! I was seeing my life through the lens of my history and it sure wasn’t serving me.
One thing that really helped me was to start praying to be receptive.
I learned that I can pray to be abundant and to be prosperous and to experience the flow of those spiritual qualities in my life, but if I’m not willing to really RECEIVE the good that is ALWAYS flowing I won’t actually experience the fullness of life’s abundance and prosperity.
As long as I thought there were strings attached to everything I was very reluctant to receive. It makes perfect sense. I’m so glad I was willing to take a bigger view and see with God’s eyes. When I made that shift I could see that the Divine never has strings attached. There are no attachments in Divine order. Freedom IS my natural state! Sanity!!!
I love to give and I don’t intend to hold back. Here’s what works for me:
I am one with All.
Everything I give, I give to God.
Everything I receive, I receive from God.
This creates perfect balance and harmony all the time, in all areas of my life! Wonderful! Try it. It will change your life forever!
I am in the perfect flow of God’s goodness all of the time. I accept my good and celebrate it, sharing the benefits with all because I am One with them!
