Worry is A Negative Use of Faith

Click here to listen to today’s Daily Power Prayer for Healing!:

Gandhi, Dr. King, Mother Teresa, Jesus, Buddha, all of the great teachers and leaders of nonviolence had an unshakable faith in Divine Intelligence. Those who have faith have access to the one great power. Fear and worry are a negative faith – a faith in something other than The Divine. In my faith I can feel that Divine Wisdom is omnipresent, omniactive love intelligence and therefore God is all there is. If Spirit is all there is then fear must be a faith in illusion. Illusion has no substance, no power.

Ernest Holmes has taught me,
“To correct all the evils of the world, would be but to have the positive faith, faith rightly placed, a faith that lays hold of the integrity of the Universe, the beneficence of God and the Unity of all life. Nevertheless, we cannot have faith in that which we do not in some measure understand.”

I place my faith in God and all is well!

  1. Dear Jennifer – Thank you so much for sharing your spiritual growth with us, and for the daily power prayers. I have been following them for a few months now. Although I cannot attest to any dramatic change in my daily life, I am beginning to be aware of a subtle change, which I can only describe it as a slow creeping in of LOVE – for others and for myself.

I am 78 years old, and have been studying ACIM for several years. It seems like a very long road, but it helps to be reminded that we are never alone and that we are part of a circle of LOVE. So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your prayers, and am sending love to you –
    Lucy Wong
