I’m a big fan of writer Malcolm Gladwell. His book The Tipping Point is a great one and my favorite of his books is Outliers: The Story of Success. I highly recommend Outliers: The Story of Success to all spiritual seekers and here’s why: In Outliers, Gladwell tells us how it is that some people can be so completely OFF THE CHARTS successful. Gladwell is an investigative reporter tackling the subject of what makes some people so much more successful than others and some of the key things he discovers really struck me.
One of the main contributions to people’s success is that they have a really STRONG PASSION for their chosen field. They LOVE it. They would do it for free. And, in their passionate pursuit, in their hunger and thirst for engaging in whatever their passion is, they put in at least 10,000 hours of practice. At least TEN THOUSAND HOURS of practice.
What I realized when I first read Malcolm’s book is: I did that. In passionate search for understanding my Divinity and connecting clearly to the Oneness of all life and knowing God with my whole heart, I put in at least TEN THOUSAND HOURS of practice. In doing so, I reached a tipping point. In forgiving and forgiving and forgiving and doing all of the spiritual practices that I’ve been guided to do (mostly by Spirit, but also by some teachers in the visible world as well), I finally cleared away enough of the blocks to have a clear connection and maintain it.
When I started this practice, I didn’t think I could get to where I am in this lifetime. I didn’t think it was even remotely possible. I say that because I’d like to encourage YOU to aspire to something beyond what you even think is attainable. And I am here to support you if that’s what you’d like to do. That’s why I take time to write this blog and record the prayers every day. This is my passion!
What do you need to get to your tipping point?
It takes willingness.
It takes a hunger and a thirst for BEING the Love in your life. You must be willing to recognize that YOU are the love of your life. Underneath everything you think you are, but you’re actually not, is the purity of God’s Love. Are you willing to let everything else go? If you are, all else will be added unto you. How cool is that?

Secondly, as I read the paragraph regarding what you need to do to get to your tipping point; I just started crying. You have heard that said in many ways and many forms but I think it was the statement and the question, “Are you willing to let “EVERYTHING” else go? If you are, all else will be added unto you.
