I’ve learned that no matter how many times I have made a wrong step, it’s never too late to forgive. It’s never too late to forgive myself and it’s never too late to offer an apology.
It does take humility to admit an error. It’s easier to apologize when we can recognize that there is not one among us who hasn’t made an error. We all make choices that, in hindsight, are regrettable.
The trick is to bring the full force of LOVE into our hearts right now. One of the most fulfilling things we can do is replace the habits of hubris with humility. It absolutely takes an active loving heart to do this work!
Your willingness to be present to the loving opportunity that is here right now, will cancel out any long-held patterns of ego and hubris.
Love is a NOW thing. We can always actively LOVE now and forgive the mistakes of the past, harvest the learning and move forward in kindness. I find it so heartening to know that NOW is the perfect moment to choose Love. Now IS always available to me, the past is not. NOW I can BE the LOVE I have been looking for! BONUS!
