I notice that I’m feeling a call to express Divine Order in a higher way, and I’m wondering if you’re feeling that pull also. I’ve been straightening things out and cleaning up messy drawers, little things like that.
What I’ve come to realize over the years is that there is a connection between Divine Order and Divine Beauty and there’s a lot to be discerned in the subtleties of life.
Beauty is one of the most healing and nourishing things I know of. Beauty is an expression of Love. Beauty that is found in nature and in expressing our natural gifts and talents. We’re all familiar with a fake beauty. Beauty impostors. Beauty comes from the Spirit and cannot be faked, we all know it and we’re never fooled.
There is beauty in being able to open a sock drawer and experience a sense of order. There’s beauty in the simple fact that the stove is clean, the laundry is folded.
I’ve noticed that very often people will get very consumed and distracted with accomplishing errands and doing chores, and they miss the opportunity to infuse them with Divine Order and Beauty – instead they go for the ego satisfaction of getting things done. Very often people would rather run errands and get chores done than simply be contemplative and commune with Spirit for 20 minutes. The ego is such a trickster. We can get everything done and orderly and have missed the whole point.
Then too, some folks live in such a mess of disorder that they find it impossible to concentrate and are always off balance and playing catch up, arriving late and feeling distracted and so they spin around for those 20 minutes that they could have used to tune in and tune UP!
Right now, more than ever, there’s gold in the little moments. There’s the power and presence of God in each choice we make, if we look for it.
I say – let’s go for the gold! The HEART of gold that IS the Kingdom. Are you in? What say you?
Affirmation:
I welcome the opportunity to LOVE in every moment.
