This is week 4 in Living A Course in Miracles and our topic is Walking the Talk in Your Family. I picked this topic because I know for me personally this was the most challenging area of my life for me to really walk my spiritual talk. It also was the most fruitful in terms of my personal healing.
One goal I set for my self many years ago was to be unbotherable. I intended to be unbotherable not because I was in denial of how I felt but because I was disciplined in my awareness.
A Course in Miracles teaches us that “I am never upset for the reason I think.” If I’m upset then there’s something wrong with my thinking. I have the ability to change my mind and this is where I need to keep my focus.
Are you willing to be unbotherable? It’s a powerful spiritual discipline! I’m looking forward to sharing more of my personal experience in the Living A Course in Miracles Homework Class this morning. Join me! Click here to register for this free class if you haven’t already.
Affirmation:
I AM willing to walk the talk & live the Love! I AM unbotherable!
Namaste Jennifer
I sent a question last nite when Jon Mundy was your Guest on ‘Living A Course In Miracles”. It was about dealing with a family that sees ACIM as being ‘of the devil’. I should have said more in the question. I hardly ever talk to my family about the Course. It’s study has been a personal matter.
But I have only seriously been studying it for the past 4 years…since reading “The Disappearance of the Universe”. I don’t have a group that I can study with except on line so I feel like a fledgeling without much human support. I used to be shaken when my family would roll their eyes at me or express concern for my soul. I am knowing more of the Spirit Support that is always with me but wish the ‘Wedge’ of our different beliefs, wasn’t there to separate us. I know that separation is just an illusion and I am getting better at seeing past it. Thank you Holy Spirit for YOUR support. Thank You Jennifer, for YOURS.
Much Love to you,
Terrie
