Yesterday my Dad got married to a lovely woman he met at Match.com 2 years ago. They’ve been having a good time, which is wonderful to see. Although my Dad had sworn he’d never marry again, he went and did it. At first they planned to have a City Hall wedding and not invite anyone, but then they decided to include everyone.
It’s wonderful that we can change our minds. It’s wonderful that love can blossom in the most unexpected ways and times. All that’s required is our willingness.
Is there any place in your life, in your family, in your relationships, your creativity or even your health and wealth that you have closed your mind and accepted some limitation that you’re not enjoying?
I’m always amazed at how closed people are to the good in their lives. Sometimes folks would rather be right about being miserable then change their mind and be happy.
