One of the great things that happens for me is when I am teaching a class I almost always find that new insight comes in for me. It’s really true that you teach best what you’re learning and that’s certainly true for me.
This week’s classes in Living A Course in Miracles were about being Heart Centered at Work. The Friday homework class brought forth such clarity – I’m quite sure that there must be some folks who are listening who really were willing and ready to take their experience of work, career and connection to Spirit to a much deeper and higher level than ever before, because the class was pure gold.
One of the things I shared is that I decided years ago to work for God, Inc. – and not just because my profession is as spiritual teacher and minister. I decided that I really would like to be in service to Love at ALL times. I decided to stop working for money and to work for Love. I decided to stop giving in order to get and simply share.
It felt like a really different approach at the time. I’m so glad I made the shift as it has made all the difference in my life. One great thing is that I’m alway employed and I don’t worry about money even though I often don’t know how the money will flow – not specifically – I do know that God is my source, God is my employer and, as I said in class on Friday, the benefits are excellent! In fact, you actually get to keep all the benefits – you can actually take them with you because the benefits are awakening awareness of Love!
