I’m temporarily waylaid in Washington, D.C. on the way back from the west coast where I went for a quick trip to attend the memorial service of a friend.  I’m in DC because of the snow storm that has pummeled the northeast and continues to storm.

I’m intending today to get onto a flight that I’m waitlisted for.  Please hold in consciousness for me as I’d really like to get home to Bodhi and Sattva.  I have a friend who’s caring for them, and all is well, but this is the first time that I’ve been away from them and I didn’t want it to be too long.  I’m so glad they have each other.

Although I’d rather be home with them right now, I do absolutely trust that everything is working together for our good. Right now the airline is telling me it could take days to get home.  I’m waitlisted on a flight, but that’s behind a list of folks on standby.

Yes, I could fly to Newark and rent a car and drive from there, but there’s a lot of snow on the ground and that just feels really stressful.  I don’t feel like I’d like to put myself through that.  There’s no emergency.  All is well.  I’d just prefer to be with them.

Will I get on a plane today?  I don’t know.  Perhaps someone will need the seat more than I’d like it.  I’d rather they have it then.  Of course I would.

I place my faith and trust in the invisible field of Love and not in the visible world of planes and snow.

Trust is a practice that reveals God’s infinite Love for us.

We place our trust in Spirit, not in the world.

Worry is the negative use of our imagination.  It’s a habit.  I don’t feel worried.  All is well.

If you’d like to find a way to give up struggling with this kind of a pattern of rising up only to crash back down again with self-medication and other self-destructible choices, if you’d like to fast track the release of habits of guilt and shame, I’m offering my End My Self-Sabotage Challenge later this month.

If you’re a secret smoker, if you isolate and self-medicate with food or alcohol and then feel ashamed and filled with self-judgment; if you’re aware that you keep sabotaging yourself, please consider joining in this beautiful program with a group of like-minded souls who’re remembering to laugh and truly healing these pain patterns.  Together, we can get it done!

NEW PODCAST EPISODE:  The most recent episode of my podcast’s topic is Does Darkness Have Power Sometimes we become afraid of what we perceive as darkness within ourselves or others.  There’s no such thing as darkness within us, no matter how dark our thoughts might seem.  We are not our thoughts!
