There are certain spiritual practices that have brought me great comfort and Peace and it’s been my joy to share what I’ve found helpful with those who are interested.
One thing that’s been extremely beneficial is the spiritual practice of opening my mind to the highest and best choice that’s available in the moment.
Here’s how it works:
First, I mentally PAUSE.
I pause to connect with Spirit. How do I connect with Spirit? Simply by intending to be Spirit led rather than by ego patterns repeating from the past.
Next, I simply declare that I am only interested in the highest and best most loving choices.
Then, I go on about my business intending to be drawn to the highest and best, most loving choices available to me.
By declaring my willingness, I’m disconnecting from my attachment to reliving the past by repeating it now. My intention to choose the most loving choice eliminates the lower vibrational choices from my interest. I may see the lower vibrational choices and acknowledge them, but the interest in choosing them is not there.
If I’m willing to connect with my Higher Holy Spirit Self, and be grateful that I can, then I’m lifting my vibration up and I’m no longer a vibrational match for those lower choices.
It’s not hard to do, but it does take willingness.
In life, we don’t get what we want.
We get what we ARE – we get the vibrational match.
One issue that almost all spiritual students I know have had, including, of course, myself, is that I used to do spiritual practices, lift my vibration up and then feel so uncomfortable because it was so unfamiliar, that I’d sabotage myself right away to bring my vibration back down.
I just couldn’t stand the higher vibration.
I had to get back to where I could find my “comfort” zone.
I wasn’t comfortable, but it was familiar.
I don’t do that anymore.
I’m so glad that fell away.
Now, I find the reverse is true.
I’m comfortable in the higher vibration and I don’t have an interest in lower vibrational choices because I don’t like it and it’s no longer familiar.
Hallelujah! I never thought it would work for me, but it did!
