At the beginning of 2020, I decided not to enroll in my 3<\/span>rd<\/span> year of Ascension Pathway<\/em> class because I did not have the time to participate. I was too busy at the office to spend time praying and healing. I was working at a fuel company when the COVID-19 virus began.\u00a0 We started working from home, and I was feeling very stressed, putting in 12-14 hours daily.\u00a0 The tension was high, flights were not taking off, cruise ships were not leaving ports, the world stayed home watching and waiting for everything to get back to normal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My computer password was \u201cLiberation\u201d, but I was not feeling very liberated at the time.<\/b><\/p>\n

As a result of the company losing 80% of its business, I was furloughed with no pay with only 1-day notice.\u00a0 At first, I was scared, full of fear and uncertain because I knew that my job was not essential and that it would never return. I reached out to our lovely Angela and let her know that I wanted to volunteer to help the Ministry.\u00a0 I was open to volunteering with whatever was needed, no job was too big or too small.\u00a0 Angela told me that we would meet after the \u201cdaily scrum meeting\u201d to go over what needed to be done.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Daily scrum meeting??? I was surprised because after all, my role at the fuel company was \u201cScrum Master\u201d.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

What is a Scrum Master?\u00a0 The scrum master is the role responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use. The responsibilities of this role include clearing obstacles and establishing an environment where the team can be more effective.<\/span><\/p>\n

While on furlough, I took virtual classes to advance my career and became interested in coaching and teaching teams and organizations to become more efficient using these scrum methods. The next day, I began coaching the team and teaching the principles and methods that I was using in my corporate job.\u00a0 The Power of Love Ministry became my first client!
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The team told me I was their answered prayer. But the truth is, they were MY answered prayer.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a beautiful experience to meet with the team daily as we pray in before and after our meeting, as we discuss and create programs for this beautiful community that Jennifer has provided for us.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am so grateful that I have developed these beautiful relationships with so many in the Ministry and I look forward to working together.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Power of Love Ministry Team<\/p><\/div>\n

Here is what has happened for me this year (inspired by ACIM<\/em> workbook lesson 24):<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • I am learning that I do not know what will make me happy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • I realize that my perceptions were wrong as they did not serve my best interest.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • I am grateful that I get to see the world in a brand-new light.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • I offer up all my judgments about how I expected it to look.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • I am willing to open up my mind so that the learning can begin.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • In this situation involving my future, I would like to co-create a work-life where I can inspire myself and others to be our true selves and share the benefits with everyone because we are One.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Today, Liberation is no longer just a password because I finally feel free!!!!<\/b><\/p>\n
