Let’s just be honest. Let’s stop telling ourselves that we tried our best, when we really didn’t. I remember once a friend of mine said, “I love my brother unconditionally, but if he doesn’t stop … (whatever it was), I don’t want to have anything to do with him.” I get it. Sometimes we drive each other crazy.
The greatest gift we can offer to anyone is to simply love them without conditions, and yet, sometimes that’s the hardest thing in the world.
When we can actively Love folks we can truly have a healing.
It’s easy to get annoyed and frustrated with people. For many, it’s much more challenging to have patience and be kind. And yet, now that I’m living from my heart, it’s so much easier for me to be kind and caring. I feel better when I can extend patience and compassion. Why? Because it puts me in the flow of Love.
We all know that complaining and criticizing, judging and attacking takes OUT of the flow of Love, but we can actually get back into the flow of Love really fast, but …
… we do have to choose it.
We have to be willing to choose it. Being willing to choose Love is what we’re built for. That’s why it feels so darn good!
When we start complaining about something then we’re getting on the pain train – and that only has one destination – Margaritaville! (Or some other version of self-medication.) The pain train ride never ends up at a new destination, so why take that ride again?
There’s so much of life to enjoy, and the bulk of it is in our relationships with each other, with life and with nature. The more we contract, and diminish the flow of Love, the less life there is in our life.
I’ve known many a person that has seemed to shrivel up into themselves because they feel it’s just too hard to keep their heart open. And yet, withholding Love is actually more difficult.
Yes, being loving can feel more challenging, more confrontational, but withholding Love is more difficult and depleting.
Let’s face it: We aren’t keeping our heart open if we’re judging and complaining.
Let’s stop telling ourselves that we tried our best, when we really didn’t.
Spirit can heal anything and everything because in the infinite mind of God, as it says in A Course in Miracles, nothing real can be threatened.
We learn to dissolve fear when we let our judgments go and learn to truly Love without conditions. It’s much easier than trying to Love with conditions, which is impossible, by the way.
We can call upon Spirit to heal whatever needs to be healed and get out of the way. Love is the only healer that truly heals back to the root cause so we never experience it again. Let’s put the pedal to the metal and go for it! We let Love lead us!
Love without conditions IS Freedom!
