One of my favorite teachings from the Holy Bible is, “If I be lifted up, I draw all unto me.” That’s from the teaching of Jesus and what I learned from it is, if I would be helpful to others, then what I need to do is to be lifted up in my awareness.
I need to lift my attention up higher, to the Holy Spirit.
I cannot emphasize enough that if we just practice being loving when we feel low, when we’re in a low vibration, everything will change for us.
Think of someone you love and think of being loving with them. Take a moment right now. Be willing to turn your attention to Love. That’s an act of self-love right there.
Don’t allow yourself to linger in the low vibrations.
It’s self-punishment to allow the misery.
Can you go to a plant and say, “you are so lovable?” I do that with my plants.
“I so appreciate you. Look at you, rock that soil and sun! Look what you’re doing with it. Amazing. Wow, thank you.”
You’ll feel better for having extended Love to the plant. You don’t need a person there. We’re all one in a field of Love, the Love is always there, all we have to do is turn our attention to it.
We’re always in a low vibration when we try to control and manipulate things. The moment that we’re trying to control or make things happen, we step into a lower vibration and that doesn’t feel good. When we step into the place of conditionality, of believing that happiness is conditional, that’s when we’re going way off track.
How do you know when your thinking is “stinking?”
Notice what you’re feeling but don’t think about how to describe it.
You don’t need to bring it up into your intellect.
You don’t have to describe it for anybody.
Just feel it.
Just notice what it feels like when you’re upset.
If you practice this, you’ll begin to notice the difference between feeling anxious and feeling sad. Just feel what’s going on right now. You might find it a little hard to breathe but you don’t have to describe it. Just notice it.
As soon as we start thinking about how to articulate and describe it, we’re back in our intellect.
The most healing thing I’ve ever done is to be loving with myself and get out of the way of the self-judgment and self-criticism. This happens when I allow myself to recognize that I’m supremely, perfectly lovable and so is everybody else.
It’s usually easier to love other people than it is to love ourselves.
Somebody else could run their credit card up, and we would have compassion for them, but not for ourselves.
Somebody else could crash their car because they were texting, and we would have compassion for them, but not for ourselves.
Somebody else could eat a giant bag of Doritos, and we would have compassion for them, but not for ourselves.
That’s our human experience.
One of the things that has helped me is to not make the things that go on in this world permanent. I say, “It’s not going on my permanent record.”
That’s why I really appreciate that expression: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. What happens in the illusion, stays in the illusion!
It’s not on our permanent record. Our permanent record is always going to be perfect love because we’re made in the spiritual image and likeness of the One Mind, the infinite Creator, the infinite Love Intelligence. We’re part of that and it doesn’t judge!
We’re grateful to give up any thought about punishing ourselves or depriving ourselves. We’re surrendering all the many ways we have disturbed our energy, felt less than perfect, less than whole. We’re handing it all over to the Higher Holy Spirit Self for healing NOW.
