So much of our human history has led us away from our relationship with the knower who knows, that inner guide that is our connection to Spirit and all life.
Our prayers seem to fall on deaf ears. It seems as though God isn’t listening.
In a certain way, it makes sense that God wouldn’t be listening to us. After all, how often do we refuse to listen to God? It’s a mutual experience. And that’s how it feels some of the time.
I’ve believed that it made sense to me that God was ignoring me, punishing me, for ignoring Spirit. I’ve felt that I was getting what I deserved for being so unloving and so unkind. I’ve also felt punished for not properly sharing my gifts and talents.
I can see now that God doesn’t know anything about our begging and beseeching prayers. If we are begging to receive something in this world because we feel that IT will be our answered prayer, then we’re not perceiving correctly. We’re operating in the false construct, the matrix-mind that tells us we’ll be happy when things in the world are different.
When our message to God is, “give me what I want and need to be happy.” We’re not communicating anything of value. We’re actually broadcasting a false message of lack and limitation. In truth, in God’s reality, it makes no sense because we’ve been given the fullness of the kingdom and we’re not looking where it can be found, within. It’s our free-will choice to look where it can’t be found.
If we’re willing to cultivate the eyes that see and the ears that hear, we’ll recognize our happiness only comes from listening to Spirit, loving Spirit and sharing the Love that we inherently are. That’s the true cause of happiness. Having no false God’s of things in this world.
We’re meant to enjoy the things of this world. I’m enjoying the tea I drink while I write this and the way the sun is rising in the sky and pouring into my simple little room in this yoga ashram in Germany. I’ve fully enjoyed the olives and cheeses that were my breakfast. I’m loving the birds singing outside the window.
Life is for loving and enjoying, and that cannot happen when we’re worshipping the false idols of the perfect body, the perfect job, the perfect number in the bank account. Love is already perfect, and that is what we are. We’re already perfect.
What has to change for it to be revealed is our willingness to listen to Spirit so we can clearly be in communication.
I AM willing to hear the still small voice for God.
I AM grateful to be receptive to inspiration in all its forms.
I AM led guided and directed in ways that are deeply fulfilling.
