Have you ever felt a noticeable reluctance to actually accept and allow the healing that you desire? I have. It’s an odd feeling.
One of the things I’ve noticed that seems to be part of our human experience is the reluctance to accept the answered prayer.
Many times the answered prayer will require us to have a shift in our consciousness and we’re reluctant to change our mind.
In a strange way we’ve become comfortable in our discomfort and making a change would be even more uncomfotable.
We can become attached to our point of view and it can feel less desirable to give up our opinion than to have a healing.
And, yeah, that’s crazy. It’s nuts.
Sometimes the answered prayer will require us to give up an attachment to a habit or a way of being in the world that we’re not prepared to give it up and we just aren’t ready. We’re reluctant.
Here’s the good news: resistance and reluctance are SO MUCH better than being totally stuck.
We can give thanks for where we are right now, and be willing to move into healing. Our willingness is all that’s required.
I pray to be more willing and my prayers are answered.
Forgiveness is the way. If you’d like to have some forgiveness support you can register for my free forgiveness workshop this Saturday, March 22.
