This week in Living A Course in Miracles the classes have been on this topic of Accelerated Wellness and it’s been a wonderful exploration in the healing power of the mind.
I’ve experienced so much healing in my life.
I’ve experienced far more healing than I ever IMAGINED was possible – and all of it came through my deepening faith in God.
In the Homework Class this week I was sharing the ACIM teaching about having faith regardless of whether or not the symptoms persist. Just because the healing isn’t showing up in form, and the symptoms are continuing, do not think that the healing hasn’t happened. Sometimes it takes a while to see the demonstration in form.
In other words, don’t give up before the miracle.
In terms of having faith – if the choice is either having faith or giving up – why would we ever give up?
We give up when we place our faith in ourselves.
The way I look at it, I am not a healer, except for my own self. I cannot heal anyone but myself. I can only heal my own mind. When it comes to healing others, I can only heal my mind about them and know the truth for and about them. And that’s a lot!
Let us know the truth, in faith, for everyone and allow the healing to happen, regardless of continuing symptoms! Our faith will be met in God and demonstrated in form. And still, we don’t know WHAT healing looks like, but we can sure feel it! Let the healing happen!
