The more I travel along this road of awakening and ascension, the more support I feel from all directions, visible and invisible. I’ve been amazed at my experiences with beings of Love and Light on both sides of the veil.

The more I open my mind to Love and BE loving, the more Love I feel coming towards me.

A Course in Miracles has beautiful messages for us about the angels and the beings of Love & Light who are available to help us if we’ll receive it.

ACIM Workbook Lesson 183 has one of the clearest teachings on this and I find it so inspiring and helpful. It says:

“God’s Name cannot be heard without response,
nor said without an echo in the mind that calls you to remember.
Say His Name, and you invite the angels
to surround the ground on which you stand,
and sing to you as they spread out their wings
to keep you safe, and shelter you
from every worldly thought that would intrude upon your holiness.”

Ponder this for a moment and you will receive such love and support from it.

We cannot call God’s name without getting a response, and surely that response will be helpful to us – as well as comforting.

We are not alone and cannot be alone.
Although we can certainly pretend that we’re alone and choose to believe it and be terrified by it.

We can terrify ourselves with many things.
That’s always an option. Suffering is optional.

When we call upon Spirit, we’ll get an echo in our mind that calls us to remember. What is there to remember but our true identity? And that all of our problems have been solved.

We are already free!
We are already as holy as holy can be!

When we say Spirit’s name – which can be in any way that appeals to us – we are invoking our own remembrance that we are part of God. Therein lies the healing.

When we call upon Spirit, we invite the angels to surround the ground on which we stand.

It’s as though they form a circle around us, like a line of defense against the stinking thinking of the world.

I love that!

I encourage you test it out and see the benefits it brings.
Always do your own research so you KNOW that you know.

We can ignore angels, but they’re still there.

We can ask them for assistance and they’ll offer us the highest and best answers to our questions.

I love the part where Jesus tells us the angels will sing to us as they spread out their wings to keep us safe. I think of it as if they’re helping to protect us from our own unkind thoughts – sheltering us from every worldly thought that would intrude upon our holiness.

In numerous places in ACIM, Jesus tells us that the angels are there for us, hovering around us, nurturing our willingness to choose Light and Love instead of hate and hell.

Isn’t it just plain good sense to seek the angels help and support?
They’re on call 24/7.
They can’t intercede, but they can help.
They have the Wisdom we’re seeking.
They’ll help us find it within our own mind, where it’s been hidden all along.

I’ve learned that if I call, the angels answer.

It may not be the answer I’m looking for, but it will be the answer that leads me to the highest and best for me – if I’m willing.
I have to be willing to make the highest and best choice.

For instance, if I call for the angels to help me to not miss my plane, and the very highest and best thing for me is to miss the plane so I can sit next to someone in the airport who’s experiencing suicidal thoughts and close to taking their own life.

By sitting next to them, perhaps that alone could raise their vibration to a higher level of thinking.

Perhaps I’d strike up a conversation with that person that would be life-changing for them, because it gives them a new view, a new insight.

Then, missing my plane would allow me to be truly helpful in a profound way.

If I could see through all directions of time and space and clearly know what everything is for and see each and every opportunity in my script for what it truly is, Wouldn’t missing that plane be my heart’s desire? Wouldn’t I prefer to be truly helpful ALWAYS?

Yes, I would.
I would always wish for that.

So, that’s why this is our prayer.
We pray to be truly helpful,
to be led and guided to the highest and best choices,
and to have the willingness to actively and easily choose them.

And this is precisely what the angels would most like to help us with.

As I understand it, angels cannot intercede, but they are CONSTANTLY offering suggestions and our willingness to hear them makes it easier for us to hear them.

The angels ask that we ask. We can ask for advice and guidance. That’s really the best thing to ask for. We can ask for them to speak to us clearly in ways that we can understand. We can ask for help in letting go of things that cause our suffering and for help in allowing things that help us awaken from the dream of separation.

The angels are among us, always. Let’s honor them by letting them help us increase our willingness and make higher and better choices all day long.

A clear message I’ve been given by angels is to put them to work, by asking them for help.

No more unemployed angels!
Let’s give them something to do!
