Being able to be of true service is the greatest joy I’ve ever known. To be open-heartedly accepting of Truth is the greatest abundance I’ve ever known. To feel that I can be loving in times when, under similar circumstances in the past, I’ve been unloving, mean or even cruel, is the greatest experience of Freedom that I’ve ever known.
The greatest service we can perform in this world is to let go of pettiness and stand in our greatness. This means being willing to Love ourselves, honor the Spirit within. The highest service is to give praise and adoration to our Higher Holy Spirit Self within. This is the supreme act of service that benefits all.
Being of service, is sharing from the heart.
I think of Gandhi, and if he had not loved the God in himself, he wouldn’t have been able to be the leader that inspired millions including Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Love of God is that powerful. God is not outside. The most direct path to our healing is to Love ourselves and see the God within.
Today, I choose to be of service, more today than yesterday, and even more tomorrow.
