We’ve all learned that our only issue is that we have a belief that we’re separate from God, but it’s not true. We act as though we’re separate from each other and we suffer, because it’s not true and it never will be true. We’re one. We’re united.
Our belief in separation is the demon seed thought that translates into doubt, mistrust and lack of certainty. Fortunately, there’s a way out of this muck and mire of false beliefs. There’s a way back home and it’s actually much easier than we think, provided we are willing to actually head home.
The challenges come when we aren’t really certain we’d like to align with our own divine will. When we’re still interested in playing around with our crazy thinking, and experimenting with more and more projections of separation, then it does delay our happiness and our homeward journey. And this is why Jesus gave us the parable of the prodigal son. To show us the path we’re on.
