Consider this – for years and years I would pray for guidance and not follow it.  Ugh. Can you relate?  

I used to feel like such an idiot.  

Imagine asking Spirit to give you a gift of insight and healing, 

and then you don’t like the color it comes in so you reject it.

That was me.  

For a very long time.

This is one of the most valuable ways I learned that NOT following guidance was self-sabotage and following guidance is Self-Love.  

I also learned the value of self-forgiveness, because I had to forgive myself for what seemed like a waste of many years that I could have been happier, more fulfilled, more loving, more kind … more everything good.

Through my experience I learned so much, and now I get to share it, and so there’s been no waste.  I’ve taken everything I learned, and put it into what I share.

God’s amazing grace has blessed me – all things work together for my good, and our good, and there isn’t one exceptions – exceptions aren’t even possible!  

Now, because of my learning, I follow my guidance, even when it doesn’t make sense to me, and even when it’s not convenient.  (OK not about everything, sometimes I just really, really would like to watch another episode on netflix!) 

I’ve learned that what really doesn’t make sense is to NOT follow the guidance.

For years I’ve been doing research about how to heal the mind faster, let go of the past with more ease and speed, and how to be the very best teacher and counselor I can be.  And my intuition has been my guide.  I could never have figured this stuff out.  I had to have Spirit show me.

First, my counseling clients taught me SO MUCH.  Sitting with them and really listening with a heart filled with Love for them, inviting Spirit to guide me, I learned a tremendous amount about the way the ego-intellect works, and the way that Spirit works in our hearts.   I couldn’t have learned it any other way.  You can’t get it from a book.

Practical experience is a great teacher – and direct insight is the BEST teacher!

Working with so many people in my classes, I’ve learned even more about how to be more clear and how to really support people in ways that are profoundly life-changing.  I’m consistently blown away by how much people change their lives, and their relationships.  I’m often surprised at the physical healing people have.  

Chronic issues of physical, emotional and mental pain are healed in miraculous ways by people who didn’t believe it was possible for them!

This is the promise of these A Course in Miracles teachings, and we’re proving that it’s true.

I’ve had the perfect research lab.  

It’s not enough to listen to guidance, 

we have to follow it to have the breakthrough

When people prove it for themselves, they never feel the same way about life again.  They now know that Spirit is with them, always WITH them and always FOR them and they can choose the healing or not.  

There’s just no going back from that place of awakening awareness. 

Knowing is SO different than believing.
