Spring is starting to spring in Vermont. I’m getting ready to leave here to travel to my family’s home in Maine and I’m thinking about how all of life is in a co-creative relationship with Spirit, as Spirit, in Spirit and that’s a beautiful and powerful thing.
It’s essential to my happiness and fulfillment that I am fully IN this relationship with, Life, with the Divine.
Saying that I’m in a relationship with Spirit isn’t just lip-service. I’m in a REAL relationship. It’s all day, every day.
Everything counts. And yet, there’s no blame, no shame, no regret, no resentment, no score.
There was a time when I was not committed to the relationship, not by a long shot. I was playing a game of “hard to get” with God. I was keeping score in the most demented way.
There’s an old and painful paradigm of thought about making deals with God. In that game, God is the sometimes loving, sometimes punishing parent. The relationship is co-dependent. “I’ll do this, if God does that.” And “I’m a lowly sinner, but as long as I grovel and repent, Daddy loves me.” There’s no partnership, no co-creativity. It’s the original dysfunctional family!
It’s my intention tohelp dissolve that old paradigm through awakening to my Divinity. My Divine essence isn’t something to be experienced someday in the future – when I give up my ways as a “sinner” and get to Heaven, it’s here NOW – and forever. I am aware that there’s purification taking place in my mind, but my very being is already pure and cannot be sullied.I AM the One who decides to see Spirit, know it, live in it and share the benefit with all beings because I AM One with them.
In every moment, I have an opportunity and a response-ability to expand MY awareness to live in this fundamental Truth: I AM One with God, eternal and infinite.

I AM responsible for my thoughts in the same way that I AM responsible for keeping my home clean and clear of clutter, keeping the vermin out and the Love Real.
I can see that I actually choose each and every one of my thoughts – over and over again. My thoughts manifest as the circumstances of my life – not to punish me, not to reward me, but to teach me because that’s how I learn and grow to know that I AM One with the Beloved now and forever.
I AM is the Resurrection and the Life of the gifts of my Divinity.
I am eternally One with the One!
