Peace in the world OUT THERE depends upon our choosing Peace in our heart right now. In order to succeed at choosing Peace we place our trust in the Divine. Trust is a demonstration of our willingness to put aside our painful past and create a new, loving experience right now, regardless of how it looks.
Trust in Love always leads us to faith in Spirit. Faith and willingness bring miraculous demonstrations. Miracles are “for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.”
No matter what religion you’ve been raised in, we’ve all been raised, in so many ways, NOT to trust, not to have faith. For most, our culture has raised us to be skeptical and suspicious.
How many times has each one of us felt betrayed? How often have the leaders of anything and everything asked for our trust and then betrayed it?
In this world, folks who do have faith and trust are sometimes considered naïve and foolish – stupid even. I’ve certainly witnessed many times when people think that of me – even people who know me well and who’ve seen the miracles in my life transpire.
When you’ve felt betrayed, ask yourself, “In what did I place my trust and faith in?”
Did you place your trust in Spirit or ego? Faith and trust in the Divine is a completely different thing from faith and trust in people and corporations. When someone is identified with ego, they’re not entirely trustworthy because ego never is. We must place our faith and trust in the unseen in order to strengthen our mind and rise above the battle ground.
We must decide that we are profoundly interested in being faith-full. Remember, it is done unto us as we believe not as we hope. Invest yourself in faith through trusting in Spirit each day. Faith is an investment in the Divine revealing itself in what’s happening now. Hope is a future possibility.
Look in your heart and find a place where there’s doubt. Now, be willing to place your trust in Spirit’s ability to bring forth a healing. Have trust to cultivate faith. It works! And Faith is worth all the effort!
