Many people are interested in being on the fastest path of awakening – but there are conditions. I sense that many would like to speed up their awakening by going to see a guru, or having some special transformational experience, or going through some kind of intense regime.
There can be many specialness issues that come up for healing when it comes to awakening awareness. The need to find a special path, a special teacher, a special process, is so intense that many people can get hung up on the whole idea of it.
When people are looking for a special path, they’re often looking for something or someone outside of them to tell them the way. They don’t trust their own inner guidance (which is COMPLETELY understandable) and so they’re looking for someone else to lead them.
While it’s wonderful to have a teacher to lead the way, the very best teachers will show you how to learn how to find the way through connecting to Spirit. We’re all on the same path and we’re all on our way.
The fastest path of awakening is through our own desire to know our own God Self and to have no false idols. A Course in Miracles offers consistent and clear guidance for those who truly are interested in relinquishing their attachments and awakening to their true identity in Spirit. It’s an incredibly fast path for those who are completely willing and that’s the topic on my radio show today!
