For a long time, I talked the talk. I talked it more than I walked it.
And I honestly didn’t even have any expectation around myself to really walk the talk.
If someone had interviewed me back then, I might’ve been honest – I would’ve said, “Oh, come on! Who really walks the talk? I mean, really, really? That’s just practically impossible!”
That’s something maybe the Dalai Lama does.
I was absolutely convinced that nobody I know does that. Maybe some awakened being, but not regular people like us.
Here’s what made a difference for me: in the late ’90s, I came in contact with a teacher who 100% lives the Love and walks the talk. She lives the Love every moment. And it’s really wonderful to have a teacher who is that example. Having an example makes a big difference, because then you can really see and feel what that is.
That changed my aspiration.
My aspiration became to live the Love and walk the talk.
And what I really enjoy about my life now is, there’s not one day that goes by that I don’t have a judgment or a critical thought – but I’m not judging myself for it anymore. I love myself, no matter what.
A Course in Miracles teaches us about consistency – that the early Lessons are all about recognizing that “Nothing I see in this room means anything.” Everything in this world, on this street, in this room, has only the meaning we’ve given it.
And that’s why we’re never upset for the reason we think.
We’re upset by the meaning we’ve given it.
But if it upsets us, then that meaning is simply an opinion.
We can choose the truth that sets us free.
We can go the other way.
We don’t have to stick to our interpretation, our knee-jerk reactions.
Our whole mission is to remember the Oneness, and to live the Oneness. We don’t have to be perfect to begin. We just have to be willing.
In my Masterful Living Program, we don’t just study A Course in Miracles because that’s not healing. We actually practice these teachings, day by day. For us, it’s all about living the Course as best we can and that means applying it in our daily experience. This makes all the difference because it heals our mind.
Seek not to change the world, your co-workers, your family and friends, but to change your mind about them. That’s what we do. That’s what brings Peace of mind.
You know you’re living ACIM when your mind is more and more peaceful. And, you know what? It’s a LOT more joyful too!
Let’s stop waiting until we’re perfect to start this level of walking the talk. Let’s walk together, one loving step at a time.
We can do this!
The real transformation happens when we remember who we really are. That’s what we do in my year-long program, Masterful Living. We follow a path of healing. It’s an upward trajectory of healing that starts in our mind – letting go of all of the blocks to Love so that we can fully accept all the Love that God has for us. So that we can unleash our holiness and move towards true healing. Are you ready to transform your relationship with illness and discover the love that heals? Join us in Masterful Living for a year of profound transformation.

NEW ACIM PODCAST EPISODE: In this episode, The Fear of Healing, I share that I used to be afraid of healing. I know that sounds backwards, but it’s true—and I suspect many of us carry this hidden fear without even realizing it. In this episode, we dove deep into A Course in Miracles Chapter 7, Section 2, “The Fear of Healing,” and explored why we unconsciously block the very miracles we pray for. We examined the startling difference between traditional forgiveness that leaves us empty and true forgiveness that actually brings relief. I shared how I discovered my own resistance to letting go of grievances (Good Lord, did I have resistance!) and why our minds create elaborate defenses against love. I explored challenging questions: What if being right isn’t worth the cost? What happens when we refuse to see ourselves as victims anymore? This isn’t easy territory to navigate, but it’s where real freedom lives. If you’ve ever wondered why healing feels so elusive despite your best efforts, or if you’re ready to discover what’s really blocking your miracles, this episode will meet you exactly where you are and gently guide you toward the peace that’s already yours.
