Finding Our Fundamental Goodness is the topic on my radio show today. This is something that came up in one of the workshops in Australia. So often, people get tricked into thinking they are fundamentally bad, wrong, or unlovable. Tain’t so.
At my workshop with a room full of people who (mostly) admitted that they had thoughts of being bad, wrong, or unlovable, they found a great resonance with “I AM fundamentally good.” I could feel the energy shift in the room as we said it. I could feel the healing happening.
We had a wonderful affirmation the next morning when, Ella, one of the beautiful people who joined us the night before, shared that on the way to our morning workshop she tried out her new affirmation on several people she met along the way and brightened their day. She’s spreading the good news. We are ALL fundamentally good.
Let’s begin to acknowledge our fundamental goodness every day, many times a day. Let’s see it in ourselves and in others. We’re giving ourselves a break and having a healing at the same time.
Just contemplating this beautiful affirmation is an act of healing.
I AM fundamentally good.
It’s true. I love it and I know it to be so for all of us! Amen, amen, AMEN!
