Have you ever made a bit of a scene over something very small?
Have you ever been upset because you got overcharged a small amount of money?

I have. But only 1 or 2 thousand times. Aargh!

What no one ever taught me, and I wish I had known is this:

All the while I was upset and complaining about being “ripped off” or overpaying, I was affirming lack and limitation and generating more of the same.

I learned from my family about being upset about these kinds of things. My grandparents went through the depression as young adults. My parents were raised by them. They went through a World War that had them living on rations. Times were really challenging. My grandparents were really poor at times. They literally counted their pennies.

All of that financial difficulty affected their consciousness. And they overcame it by being tithers. By being generous and magnanimous and supportive of their communities. Still, they pinched pennies and that’s what I grew up with.

Now, I can let the small stuff go.
I’m so grateful for that.

Sometimes it’s really truly a matter of my saying to myself, “I could choose peace instead of this.”

And then I choose peace.

I choose to let the thought go.

Lack thinking manifests lack experience. The antidote to lack is to affirm that we already have.

Spirit has already given us EVERYTHING. We have the KINGDOM WITHIN.

Being willing to access the kingdom brings the experience of “everything being added.” It’s a spiritual practice of truth that brings true abundance. We can practice today!
