A Course in Miracles teaches us that a miracle is when we shift our thinking from egotistical to spiritual. A miracle is when we choose to dis-identify with the ego thought system and align with Spirit instead.
People think a miracle is when something shifts in the world of form that’s surprising. Miracles are always surprising, but actually we shift at the level of the mind, at the level of the heart, and then things change at the level of form.
A Course in Miracles tells us:
“A miracle is a service.
It is the maximal service you can render to another.
It is a way of loving your neighbor as yourself.
You recognize your own and your neighbor’s worth simultaneously.” T-1.I.18.
I’ve learned that being of service brings the greatest sense of fulfillment.
We can be deeply fulfilled and sustained every way in every day through being willing to be miracle minded.
I invite you to consider where you’re experiencing something you wish would change. Are you willing to be the one who calls forth a miracle? Changing your mind about what’s possible, and energizing what you’d like instead of what you don’t like are part of being willing to experience the shift of mind that will bring forth a miraculous demonstration.
The miracle is in the mind.
