You know how much I love the teaching “Seek first the kingdom, which IS within, and all else WILL be added unto you.” When you’re aware of your true identity, and you truly KNOW it, you can stand in the awareness that Jesus stood in when he said “the Father and I are One.”
In the awareness of Oneness it is easy to manifest whatever is necessary for the highest and best expression of Love to unfold in your life.
I have always loved raspberries and also fresh ripe pineapple. I used to think that I couldn’t afford them. I didn’t usually get to experience them. When they were available in the store, I didn’t buy them. Even though I would spend money on other “luxury” items from time to time – like eating out in a restaurant – I felt that having these foods I really loved was a “luxury I couldn’t afford.” I put that label on it. I had a limited idea about it in my mind. It never occurred to me that people would give me what I loved. I only thought “I can’t have it because I cannot afford it.” I was blocking the flow and I didn’t even know!
I changed my mind. Now, if I feel like having raspberries or pineapple, I get them. I don’t need to stuff myself with them. I don’t need to deprive myself. I can just enjoy them. I notice that good, fresh, organic raspberries are more and more available at a reasonable price. Is this because my mind has relaxed about them?
I notice too that now my parents home has many wild raspberry bushes growing up there too. Raspberries are more and more plentiful. I take it as a demonstration of my consciousness and I enjoy them when I feel moved to. I’m grateful! The more I am aware of the UNITY of all life, the more I use my spiritual practice to purify and release all the false beliefs and cravings that do not serve me, the more easily I’m able to manifest that which I’d like to experience.
Changing your mind is what we’ll be talking about in class today and tomorrow. We can live a truly loving and prosperous life and that’s what we’re going to share about in Living A Course in Miracles – Gary Renard is our teacher today and I’m very excited for that! We’ve got two free classes this week and we’re focused on Choosing Again! Let’s go for it! We’re getting our healing ON!
