Remember the saying “When the going gets tough, the tough get going?”
What about this: When times are tough, the loving get to being loving.
Times are intense right now and all around us there’s a cry for Love. Perhaps you’re feeling it yourself inside. This is the time to love ourselves. Being loving brings us back into our right mind.
Love is the antidote to fear.
Things can look really tough, but if we change our view we can have another perspective. We don’t have to figure it out. We can let the Higher Holy Spirit Self change our view – let Spirit do the heavy lifting.
Over and over again, remarkably and most miraculously, I’ve found that making a loving choice – a single choice – can turn the tide.
Knowing the power of a single loving choice, I don’t allow myself to linger and malinger in despair. Just because it’s familiar doesn’t make it worthwhile.
One of the things I Love and appreciate so much about A Course in Miracles is that it feels like a clear ringing bell of Truth – which is exactly what I aspire to be in my holy walk of Love in this lifetime. And so, making loving choices is an essential part of my spiritual life and practice.
I Love this quote from A Course in Miracles:
“No-one can fail who asks to reach the truth, and it is truth we ask to reach today.”
Let us ask to reach the Truth together. Let us choose liberation.
That big blue book is so full of assurances that we cannot fail if we continue to choose Love. Love leads us to the Truth and that is where we find Freedom – ringing in our loving heart.
We cannot fail! Why? Love cannot fail. Love is our true identity. We’re already there.
