An awareness that’s activated my experience of Peace and Freedom is to move out of thinking that I’ve wasted any time.
No wasted time. No mistakes.
It’s so tempting to align with the ego and judge the use of our time and energy in the past. I find it’s best not to look back except to celebrate how far we’ve come! The other choice is to compare and despair. That’s not helpful.
I’ve made millions of mistakes in my life. I make mistakes every day. I used to judge my mistakes, and now I realize that they are one way I learn.
I am a learner. I LIKE learning. I used to HATE making mistakes. I used to BERATE myself for making mistakes until I began a personal practice of nonviolence and then my commitment to living a nonviolent life led me to realize that berating myself for ANYTHING was subjecting myself to punishing mental and emotional violence. That stopped me cold!
I prefer to harvest the wisdom from my mistakes and I don’t mind making them, most of the time.
Our inherent wisdom is something we can access. If we judge our errors (or someone else’s), it takes longer for the pain to break down and become compost. Judgment makes it harder for the wisdom seeds to grow.
Are there any errors that you’ve made that you’re still judging? Release the judgment so you can harvest the wisdom! Your Higher Holy Spirit Self knows the way. Don’t leave it to the ego to decide these things – be yourself, your REAL Self and decide how you’d like to move forward.
This is what spiritual practice looks like sometimes. Taking out the trash in the form of self-judgment. Changing the channel. Focusing on BEING loving. Extending Love.
I am grateful that we can receive tremendous, life-transforming benefits from applying 1 or 2 simple spiritual tools each day. Seriously. It’s crazy how much easier and more fulfilling life is with a spiritual practice that works.
Even just a few minutes of clear intentional heart-centered choices each day will literally change your life.
It sure has changed mine.
If you’re ready to experience that kind of healing, join me Saturday, March 14th for a Deep Dive Workshop: Letting Go of a Person.
Reading about trust is one thing. Practicing it in real time is another.
In this workshop, we won’t just talk about leaving the prayer on the altar. We’ll actually do it. Together.
You’ll be guided step by step through a practical, ACIM-based forgiveness process that helps you release what you’ve been holding — not by force, not by denial, but by choosing again with Spirit.
There’s something powerful about doing this work in the community. When two or more gather in the name and nature of the Christ, the healing accelerates. The false belief loses its footing. What felt impossible begins to soften.
If you’ve been managing the pain, analyzing it, or trying to outthink it — this is an opportunity to experience something different.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. Come bring your willingness. Spirit will handle the rest. Register here.
Free Forgiveness Workshop with me SUNDAY, March 8th – Join me! Let’s do this deep work and have a healing together. Let’s lighten our load as we head towards Valentine’s Day. Now’s the time! Free sounds good, right? Invite a friend! Register now and I’ll see you then! Click here now to register for FREE!
LATEST ACIM PODCAST EPISODE: In this episode, The Fear of Healing, I share that I used to be afraid of healing. I know that sounds backwards, but it’s true—and I suspect many of us carry this hidden fear without even realizing it. In this episode, we dove deep into A Course in Miracles Chapter 7, Section 2, “The Fear of Healing,” and explored why we unconsciously block the very miracles we pray for. We examined the startling difference between traditional forgiveness that leaves us empty and true forgiveness that actually brings relief. I shared how I discovered my own resistance to letting go of grievances (Good Lord, did I have resistance!) and why our minds create elaborate defenses against love. I explored challenging questions: What if being right isn’t worth the cost? What happens when we refuse to see ourselves as victims anymore? This isn’t easy territory to navigate, but it’s where real freedom lives. If you’ve ever wondered why healing feels so elusive despite your best efforts, or if you’re ready to discover what’s really blocking your miracles, this episode will meet you exactly where you are and gently guide you toward the peace that’s already yours.
