What are we disconnecting from?

We all feel the call to disconnect from the intensity of our feelings, and all of the noise of the world.

Much of the time, for me, it feels like I’m disconnecting from the burden of living in a world that is so dense.

I’m disconnecting from the density of daily living in a world where people are so focused on the meaningless.

If I’m tuning out by watching a movie or having some frozen yogurt or listening to music or whatever it might be, I’m really tuning out from connecting to God.

So, I’m really coming to understand that when the impulse comes to unplug – it’s really not about unplugging from technology, so much as it is unplugging from ego activities and thoughts.

The answer is to PLUG IN to my God nature – to my Higher Holy Spirit Self and become refreshed by Spirit.

That’s why I LOVE to pray! Because prayer immediately taps me into the source of all good.

Prayer is refreshing!
It’s FREE – there’s no cost!
It’s healing!
It’s liberating!
It doesn’t take much time and it doesn’t take much effort – usually.

When we pray, we’re on the awakening path and it’s lovely. Prayer recalibrates us and points us in the right direction.
