The quality I notice most about Love is that it has no self interest. Love has no self. It is the All in All. As it says in A Course in Miracles, “To have, give all to all.” That doesn’t refer to things – it’s not about giving ALL THINGS to have all THINGS. It’s about giving all Love to all.
What does that feel like? It feels like heaven?
What does it look like? It looks like infinite patience, honesty, kindness, and generosity. It looks like surrendering self-interest and looking for the highest good in every situation.
For me, I pray to BE the highest good that I can be in every situation. I AM carefully monitoring myself for self-cherishing tendencies so that I can be a place of pure Love with myself and with everyone else. It’s a rigorous spiritual practice I’ve learned to do with Love.
