Many years ago I realized I was doing work that I really knew was no longer mine to do. It was time for someone else to do it and for me to do something new. I had loved doing the work, but I wasn’t loving it the same anymore and I could feel that it was no longer mine to do.
I prayed like a mammer jammer to release the work, with ease and grace and to do the work that was mine to do. The very next day I was told that my services were no longer needed and I was not given a single reason why. I didn’t need a reason, I knew:
This was my answered prayer.
Of course it was! What ELSE could it be?
I didn’t know what would come next. I knew I really desired to step full time into Ministry, but I didn’t know HOW that would happen. So, I moved into what I now call RADICAL TRUST. Every time I felt concerned or worried about the future I would affirm “this is my opportunity to have radical trust and faith ini Divine Guidance.” I really learned how to stay in Faith.
In a couple of months, my family needed me and I became a full-time caregiver for my folks while my Mom went into hospice care and the last months of her precious life. I was BEYOND grateful that I could be with my folks 100% of the time. It was, in fact just about the best blessing I’ve ever had.
We don’t know what’s next.
We don’t know HOW it’s going to workout.
Yet, we can hold the vision, we can hold the container of faith for Spirit to flow into. And that IS our job. It’s our responsibility.
