An active practice of forgiveness includes letting go of the interpretation and meaning that I made of the past. Along with not judging things now, not giving things meaning now, so that I don’t have to forgive them later.

In this way, I’m working in the past, present and in the future.

When we heal the negative experiences and beliefs about the past, it feels like it doesn’t exist anymore. The energetic residue is gone.

Anywhere in your life where you feel that you are being held captive by your personality, forgiveness will set you free. This is why forgiveness is an act of profound Self-love. And, it’s also a gift of Love to all beings.

Please take a moment now to consider how your life would change if you were always caring and kind to yourself and you always made the most loving choices. Think about just reviewing recent events. Can you see any place in your life where you were unkind to yourself, lacking in compassion, punishing?

Sometimes it’s like this: we’re distracted and not paying attention and we’re also in a hurry and so we’re rushing. As a result, we get into a car accident, a fender bender. Maybe we were distracted and worried about money and now we have an even bigger money problem.

Maybe we were worried about being late for work and so we were rushing and now we’re REALLY going to be late for work. So, of course, having made the error, you change your tune, and start to become very kind and compassionate with yourself, right?

Most people then start to blame and attack themselves. Now the berating starts.

Most people just double down on their self-attack, until it exhausts them and they find something else to complain about. Our life becomes a spiraling whirlpool of negativity pulling us down.

I have really learned that when any of these things happen – like a fender bender – it’s time to stop, look inward and listen to Spirit. Stop, look, listen.

And be grateful
Be compassionate.

That’s the way that we really do change the past, present and future.
In this moment now we can forgive. And that sends a healing wave in all directions of time and space.

Through forgiveness our life is vastly improved and transformed.

You can try it for yourself.
It’s really impossible to believe until you experience it for yourself.

You can combine the Stop Playing Small Retreat with the Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive and get a discount! Plus we have payment plans and early bird special is on now!

I haven’t offered a Stop Playing Small Retreat in for a couple of years, so if this interests you, please join! We practice and learn Self-Love in Spiritual Community and it’s a powerful healing and life-changing experience. We can accomplish a lot in a short time when we come together focused on transformation!

My Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive is not just a professional training, it’s a deeply healing opportunity to let go of false beliefs. If you read the things people have said about how their lives change as a result, you will see that this is an opportunity for profound lasting personal healing.

If you’re willing, let’s do it together! Changing our lives and healing our minds is so much easier when we are the two or more gathered together for the same purpose. To this end, I’m offering another Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive in May and my Stop Playing Small retreat right before, at the end of this month.

We’re an expanding global spiritual community of prayerful people willing to be co-workers with God. We’re waking up together and finding freedom in our hearts. I’m so grateful for this!

If you find what I’m sharing helpful, won’t you please share at facebook and twitter to let others know? Thank you!
