Right now, a lot of people are experiencing a major spiritual detox. I am seeing signs of it all over the place.
What do I mean by spiritual detox? It’s when your issues, particularly long-standing ones are UP and IN YOUR FACE! It’s when it feels really uncomfortable and there’s a strong temptation to quit and just start self-medicating and playing small. Detox is never fun, but it always feels SO much better on the other side!
Often times it can feel like it’s VERY tempting to believe “I’m never going to change” or “life is never going to change.”
A lot of this intensity is the result of WILLINGNESS to change and spiritual practice COMBINED. In other words, you brought it on yourself. Yikes!
Here’s what has been SO deeply healing and purifying for me:
When you realize your stuff is up and in your face and you’re tempted to run, hide, ignore, delay, procrastinate, avoid and self-medicate the first step is to CLAIM YOUR HEALING!
I AM grateful my stuff is up for healing!
I claim my healing!
I AM willing to have a healing NOW!
I AM willing to release whatever does not serve my path of Love with ease and grace NOW!
I AM choosing my healing.
I AM grateful to let the past go!
I AM grateful to claim my healing in GRATITUDE!
God is with me, always for me and never against me, I cannot fail because God cannot fail!
The good news is that the detox won’t last if you keep going through it. That’s why I talk so often about going through what felt like a mine field while during a hurricane until I got to the tipping point where it all got so much easier – and I do mean SO MUCH EASIER!
It takes willingness and persistence.
Persistence in surrender, forgiveness and releasing attachment.
Do you have what it takes to get to the healthy side of your life?
OF COURSE YOU DO!
How do I know you do? Because I’ve learned and I’ve helped so many find the willingness to discover that if you ARE willing, you’ll be CARRIED – the stronger your willingness and the stronger your spiritual practice of replacing judgment with love and compassion, the easier and faster the journey is. Why drag it out?
Do you need a bit of motivation: If you say yes, with gratitude, it’s so much easier. If you resist, it can be exceedingly painful. It doesn’t have to be hard or painful. We’ve all done hard and painful already, why repeat when we can learn from the past?
We’re waking up together and I’m so grateful for that! If you’re finding what I’m sharing to be helpful won’t you please share at Facebook and twitter to let others know? Thank you!
