Yesterday, I traveled from Phoenix, Arizona to Salt Lake City, Utah, where I’m speaking at the ACIM Easter Conference. Traveling used to be pretty challenging for me.
I’m a sensitive person, and the energy in airports can be very intense as many people are traveling to and from difficult circumstances such as visiting loved ones who are ill or dying, as well as, funerals. Many people are very sad to be leaving home or returning home and leaving loved ones behind. Many are terrified of flying.
We’ve probably all read about by now, on the United Airlines plane last Sunday, where the gentleman was dragged off the plane and treated so unkindly. I’ve thought about what I might have done to be helpful.
I certainly would have spoken up and probably seen if I could organize the passengers around me to do something – perhaps organizing everyone to chant, “Please be kind! Please be kind! Please be kind!”
It really only takes one person to shift the energy to Love – that’s how powerful Love is. I’d like to think that I can be that loving person in every situation – guided and inspired by Spirit as to what to say and what to do to be truly helpful.
When we are willing, Spirit will provide. We don’t have to figure out how to be a positive presence, we just allow the Presence of Holy Spirit to direct us, and then, we know what is ours to do and not to do. This applies in the most difficult situations, if we’re willing.
Now is the time for us to cultivate a great willingness to be loving and listening to the Higher Holy Spirit Self!
