For most people, it’s hard to believe that true Freedom is in the mind. It’s a decision that you make to release the attachments that create the sense of lack of Freedom. For many people it’s hard to believe that Freedom is a decision. For many attachments seem involuntary. People often believe that others MAKE them feel things, or that circumstances make them feel things. Nothing could be further than the truth.
The key to understanding what really causes upset, constriction, limitation and despair is willingness. We have to be willing to see, willing to hear, and willing to know in order to discover the path of Freedom.
Willingness can seem like something that requires a sacrifice. It can seem like we’re giving up Freedom when we’re willing to surrender the attachments that cause our suffering. We’d rather cling to the beliefs than be Free. I’ve been there and felt that. It causes depression and despair to feel attached to limitation.
Freedom is no sacrifice. Freedom is Peace of mind.
