Gandhi, Dr. King, Mother Teresa, Jesus, Buddha, all of the great teachers and leaders of nonviolence had an unshakable faith in Divine Intelligence. Those who have faith have access to the one great power. Fear and worry are a negative faith – a faith in something other than The Divine. In my faith I can feel that Divine WIsdom is omnipresent, omniactive love intelligence and therefore God is all there is. If Spirit is all there is then fear must be a faith in illusion. Illusion has no substance, no power.
This week in Living A Course in Miracles our topic is Unshakable Faith, No Doubt with Gary Renard, author of Disappearance of the Universe. I love Gary and his story of ever deepening faith in his own walk of Love has been an inspiration to me for years.
Ernest Holmes, the founder of the Science of Mind teachings, has taught me, “To correct all the evils of the world, would be but to have the positive faith, faith rightly placed, a faith that lays hold of the integrity of the Universe, the beneficence of God and the Unity of all life. Nevertheless, we cannot have faith in that which we do not in some measure understand.”
I have studied spiritual teachings in order to understand them. However, it wasn’t until I decided to place my trust and faith in God that the understanding ACTUALLY arrived in my awareness.
There is no substitute for willingness. Faith and willingness are two sides of the same coin.
Be willing to place your trust in Love and true faith will reveal itself in your awareness!
