In my waking up (which continues daily), I came to realize, unequivocally, that in this 3D world of effects, our thought, both individually and collectively (All is One) is what we have projected into the ethers and has taken form. This is the Law of Cause & Effect in action.
Jesus said “It is done unto you as you believe.”
In A Course in Miracles, it says the same thing so many ways here are two:
“There are no idle thoughts. All thinking produces form at some level.”
“It is hard to recognize that thought and belief combine into a power surge that can literally move mountains.”
Form is our human life.
Form is our experience.
Form is what we experience with our five senses.
Form is our feelings.
The illusion is that life is happening TO us.
The Truth is that life is happening BY us.
In order to wake up, we must accept that.
For years, I was teaching the Law of Cause & Effect while still believing that things were happening TO me.
When we allow ourselves to BELIEVE that life is happening to us, that others are doing things to us, that someone is to blame for our smallest upset, then we’re effectively declaring “I prefer to sleepwalk through my life.”
Waking up is recognizing that the only power there is IS in your mind. There is no power in the world. We have given the world all the meaning that it has. There is only ONE power and it’s operating now.
If you don’t like something in this world – start to say “that has no power. Only my thoughts and beliefs have power.”
Say it all day every day until the belief in separation has been healed.
There is only one power and it’s in your mind.
That’s where the power has always been.
That’s where the power will always be.
This is your wake up call!
Trust me on this one – once you get through the shock of taking responsibility for creating a mess, you can forgive everything – which means to stop judging and blaming yourself and then you can begin to laugh, because it just isn’t real. It’s an experiment in creation and now we’re waking up to an awareness beyond time and space.
Choose to do this work, my friend, because our choosing to actively accelerate our awakening is the greatest joy we have ever known or will know and it is the only way to be truly helpful.
