The other day, I was in Chicago offering a workshop for the Practitioners and Core Council at the Bodhi Spiritual Center and it was a lot of fun. One of the things that came up was about self-judgment.
When we judge ourselves for things we don’t do well, being unkind, or making errors, there’s the tendency to then label ourselves as “not good.” Rather than just look at the behavior, words and actions as being unloving, unwise or whatever we might perceive them to be, we take it all the way to bad and wrong then we go to, “I’m bad. I’m wrong. I’m not good.”
To heal our minds of all delusions of separation from our God source, we recognize that it’s ALL good, in that everything works together for our good and there are no exceptions.
The truth is, we’re still good. Goodness is our God-Nature.
Even people who have behaved in ways that were extremely violent, unkind and unloving – they are still, at their core, good. Their true essence is the same divine goodness that we all are. The sooner we can accept this, the sooner we can all be happy and living a heavenly life!
I’m offering a Living A Course in Miracles retreat AND A Forgiveness Retreat in North Carolina this October and I’m excited for all the healing we’re going to have together!
If you’re finding what I’m sharing to be helpful, won’t you please share at facebook and twitter to let others know? Thank you!
