I Pray to Be Even More Willing

Willingness is the key.  It’s so simple and beautiful and completely life-changing and transformational upon one condition: you have to actually live it.  It’s got to be more than words.  We learn to be willing even when we don’t feel like it.

Willing to be kind, loving, gentle, patient, compassionate and generous of heart.

I think it’s so interesting that many of us will spend money, work tirelessly, travel at length and do many other things in the world of density in order to try to find a way to achieve our goals when we won’t take the simplest route and work in the invisible world of changing our mind.

A Course in Miracles says: Seek not to change the world, but rather to change your mind ABOUT the world.  It’s so simple and yet how many of us are actually willing to LIVE it.

With all the doing, doing, doing we’re profoundly distracted, we have a sense of accomplishment even as we accomplish so little.  Hmmmm.

I’m for a better way.

I notice that even when we have a magic cure for something we’ll even stop doing it or using it.  It’s because we’re identified with one who is mentally separated from the one and only power.

The only power there is in this world or any other is the power of Love.

Love is the power.  When we’re willing to be truly loving – then, and only then, do we experience the true power.

It’s not hard, when we’re fully willing.  When we’re completely willing, it’s natural.

So, we pray to be more willing!
