I love my life! I love what I get to do each and every day! I get to support people in making their life a miraculous experience of Love and healing! How cool is that?
I have to share this story by Lygia Lee Byrd who is in my Finding Freedom class with me right now. She is rocking it out!
In my Spiritual Espresso the other day I included a prayer for being Devoted to Love and after listening to it, she went off to the grocery store where she had an opportunity to put her spiritual commitment into practice – that’s what Finding Freedom is all about – it’s about LIVING IT because that’s how we get the healing!
Here’s her grocery store miracle in her own words as she shared in our FInding Freedom chat group:
“I had just finished checking out when a large, loud and lovely woman with a leopard top and hat to match came running to the check out line I was leaving. Her arms were full of groceries and she had a 96oz bottle of ketchup (you see this coming right?) in one hand and proceeded to ‘plop’ it down on the checkout counter.
However…. the bottle had other ideas and went to the floor and all over me instead. For a moment I went ‘numb’. It was surreal. In fact, everyone in the immediate area including the clerk ‘gasped’ and it seemed all the air was sucked out of the room. The woman who dropped the bottle screamed in horror!
She immediately threw down the rest of her groceries and started to apologize reaching for her purse to get a wallet and give me some money. All the while her soul poured out how sorry she was.
As I looked into her now teary eyes I saw ‘a little girl’. A little girl who had made a mistake and was truly sorry and would have done anything to take back what had happened. I saw her fear, her regret, her shame…most of all I saw her shame.
My first words were to the clerk and I asked “may I have a paper towel?” The air came back into the room.
People started moving to help get the mess cleaned up and off of me. I looked at the ‘little girl in the leopard top with her matching hat’ and I said, “No worries, I can just throw these in the wash. They’ll be just fine”.
The still stricken with embarrassment woman’ again asked if there was anything she could do and I replied “you just did”.
I told her, “You see I devoted myself to love today and you tested me on that commitment!”
And then I laughed out loud which relieved her and the rest of the patrons to no end.
“In fact you and I had a contract together to test my ‘spiritual muscles’ and I believe I passed! What do you think?” I asked with a smile. She just looked at me with HER mouth now ‘open’. LOL!!! And then I left, went home and washed my clothes. It was intriguing having red hair but I thought ‘nah, another time’ and washed it too.
Now I wonder what HER lesson was???? Hm…….
