Prayer for A Course In Miracles teaches us that when we reach a certain point in our relationship with the Divine we’ll realize that we have mighty companions walking beside us. These companions are our Divine friends and neighbors. Jesus taught us that there are many houses in God’s mansion. I think of it like this: we live in a Divine apartment complex. The day you move into your expanded awareness you get introduced to your wonderful neighbors: Quan Yin, St. Francis, Krishna, Mother Mary, Buddha, Jesus, Saint Germaine, Holy Spirit, Higher Self and of course all the Archangels. They live above, below, in all directions.
The policy in the building is this: the very moment you have a need or a concern your neighbors will gladly help you. All you have to do is ask. Knock on the wall, knock on the door and you’ll find they are there for you, 24/7. But you do have to ask. If you don’t invite them, they cannot come. There’s no way around that policy.
I believe everyone has these same wonderful, helpful neighbors and yet only some of us are willing to knock, to ask. Our Divine and oh, so helpful neighbors are there for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear – and a willingness to ask.
I see a lot of folks who prefer to go it on their own. It’s as though many people have gotten so used to choosing thoughts of separation that they have completely forgotten they even have these wonderful neighbors – the angels, ascended masters and more.
We’ve forgotten these dedicated beings are so willing to help us have a realization of ease and grace any time of the day or night for any reason whatsoever. Even when we’re are consistently reminded, we continue to forget.
If you know you could benefit from some help, but you choose to complain about how hard it is instead of getting help – what does that say about you? It’s not that you are spiritually stupid, it’s that there’s something about being separate that you still find more attractive than living a life of peace. Maybe you just feel guilty and unworthy.
When I didn’t feel worthy I struggled on my own too. Then I realized my neighbors could help me give up any thoughts of unworthiness – PHEW!
We had a big house cleaning and feng shui’d the place like nobody’s business. I called my Divine Neighbors in to help and they did all the heavy lifting. It was great! Now I live in Divine Partnership with them. I live in the flow of giving and receiving and have an understanding of true affluence that was impossible before I committed to clearing all the mental clutter of my opinions.
