A Course in Miracles is very clear that we’re not victims. Not ever. And yet, we fall into victimhood thinking very easily, at least until we’re no longer interested in playing in that sandbox.
The consciousness that is most completely ego is the one that believes itself a victim. It’s the lowest vibration – it’s when life is happening to us. We know that’s where we’re operating from when our focus is on trying to manipulate the world to make us happy, ease our pain, fix our problems, do what we want and get out of our way.
When we’re operating from that victim perspective, life is hard. It feels hard. It’s what I call “pushing density.” We’re in a low vibration that feels slow and unresponsive. When we know that we’re infinite, eternal, and united with all, then we work with our mind to shift consciousness and life in the world shifts easily, and gracefully. We feel aligned. That’s what I call, “working in the invisible.”
Working in the invisible is so much easier and more fulfilling than pushing density.
The fastest path to this happier and more fulfilling way of living is to forgive ourselves for forgetting that we’re part of God and believing that we’re separate. That might seem like an intellectual exercise, but it’s not at all. It’s something we do in our heart. We forgive ourselves for ever having believed that we’re not enough, that we’re unlovable, and bad. Once we do that we can move on to higher ground.
We’re infinite intelligence, we cannot feel ashamed unless we choose it.
We cannot believe we’re less than unless we choose to believe that someone else is better or worse. So, we forgive ourselves our debts and our trespasses and then we can see the unity of all life again. Our false beliefs cloud the view.
Only we can liberate ourselves and we can do it so quickly when we’re truly willing to remember the truth. Isn’t this the perfect time for us to choose liberation? Let’s go for it together this year and bring everyone else with us!
