To follow up on my Spiritual Espresso from yesterday about my Dad being in the path of the hurricane, it’s been a day of watching the weather as hurricane Milton has made it’s way to the west coast of Florida. My dad and his wife are in Venice, which is right in the path of the storm, but it’s been manageable so far today.
Truly, it would have been great if they could have evacuated, but they decided not to and it looks like the really big winds have passed them by. We’ll see how it goes, but as of this writing on Wednesday evening, they’re without power and they’re hunkered down.
They’ve even had a New York Times article written about them!
Experiences like this are always an opportunity to work at the level of the mind, to relinquish the attraction to feeling like a victim and to stand in trust and faith.
We often reject the challenges as being undesirable, but they bring desired results.
Real results in the form of shifts in consciousness and for that we can be forever grateful!
Are there any challenges that you’re rejecting because you think things should be different? Release them to the Higher Holy Spirit Self for healing and call forth a new level of trust and faith!
This is our practice, it’s not easy, but it’s healing and that makes it worthwhile.
