Here’s what happens when we commit to following divine guidance:

Life gets easier. So very much easier.

Not because our circumstances necessarily change overnight. But because WE change. The way we relate to life changes and that transforms our relationships and the way we feel about ourselves. The way we make decisions is altered. The way we move through your days changes.

We go from struggling against the current to flowing with it.

I describe it this way: “At first, it can feel frightening. You might worry that Spirit is going to lead you to not have what you want anymore. To give up things that feel precious. To be asked to do things you don’t think you want to do.”

This fear stops so many people. They sense the presence of guidance, they feel the invitation to trust it, and they slam the door shut because they’re terrified of what might be asked of them.

But here’s what actually happens: the moment you get the hang of this, you realize the one thing you really don’t want to do anymore is ignore the guidance.

Because the high-vibrational choices are so fulfilling.

The loving choices are so energizing. The guided choices are so expansive and surprising. Life becomes filled with unexpected good things. You’re directed in miraculous ways.

And you recognize that the only way to get more of this is to keep replacing the unloving thoughts with loving thoughts.

To keep reaching for the highest and best choices. To keep that willingness constant.

My own journey taught me this.

I created Masterful Living, my year-long program. I created Finding Freedom From Fear my 3 month program. I created every program I’ve been guided to because I followed that guidance. Not because I invented something and then sold it. I literally followed the Holy Spirit’s direction and brought forth magnificent things that help many, many people.

When people say my programs are extraordinary, I say, “I know. It blows my mind! I didn’t create it. I followed Spirit’s direction.”

And that’s available to every single one of us.

You can bring forth magnificent things. You can be truly helpful to people around you. You can live a great, great life. But it requires this willingness: the willingness to follow guidance even when you don’t know where it’s taking you. The willingness to trust the vibration of your own Higher Holy Spirit Self.

Here’s what changes when you commit to this:

You stop second-guessing yourself. You stop waiting for certainty before you act. You learn to recognize the still, small voice and you trust it. You make the call. You take the action. You speak the truth. You show up for someone else. You follow the impulse.

And every single time, it works.

Not because the world is suddenly perfect. But because you’re in alignment.

You’re moved by something larger than your fear or your doubt or your conditioning. You’re moved by Love.

And Love always knows what to do.

My invitation to you is simple: this is how we’re meant to live.

Not struggling. Not trying to manage everything with willpower. Not consulting your fears about the future. But constantly, gently, turning to that still, small voice and asking: “What’s the highest and best way? What’s truly loving here? What does Spirit want me to do?”

And then doing it.

This isn’t for special people – it’s for everyone.

The veils fall away. The grievances release. The false beliefs dissolve. And you find yourself living a life that’s miraculous – not because everything is perfect, but because you’re awake and present and guided through every moment.

That’s the gift of cultivating intuition and insight.

That’s the gift of following divine direction.

That’s how you transform your life and help transform the lives of everyone around you.

LATEST PODCAST EPISODE:  What Is Evil? In this episode of A Course in Miracles: Walking the Talk, Living the Love, I explore a word we’ve all heard a million times. It can be tempting to label people evil for what they do. What does that even mean? A stranger attacked me online over a simple question about my dog. Instead of arguing, I got curious, and that led me right back to A Course in Miracles. So how does ACIM define evil? Along the way, I look at what the teaching says about evil, and why the word is so easy to reach for. The answer may surprise you.
