You might be surprised to learn that most spiritual students feel like an outsider.

Think of it: all these people who are connected in spiritual community and yet they still feel like an outsider.  

For a long time I felt that I didn’t belong in so many different ways.   I remember when I was a kid, that I started school earlier than some – my birthday is at the end of November, and so I started school early – and I wasn’t really as mature as the other kids.  I’m not complaining, but I do sense that I felt different.

Then as I got older, there was talk of me skipping a grade, but my parents didn’t do it because I was already younger than others in the class.  The reason for me skipping a grade is that they knew I was bored.  The compromise was for me to do extra book reports.

I know that in junior high school I was really beginning to feel like I didn’t fit in, but I managed to find my crowd of misfits to feel comfortable enough.  In High School I was with a different group of misfits and at least we were all misfits and so that made us fit together.

For my teens and twenties I particularly felt that I didn’t belong, but I made the best of it.  The main thing I felt was that I didn’t belong on this earth.  As my mind began to clear as a result of my spiritual practice, I went through another period of feeling that I just didn’t fit into this existence – that there was another dimension where I was supposed to be, and where I’d feel comfortable.

There are many of us who are here to help lead humanity into the golden age of enlightenment.

We’re in this in-between the ages stage.  The Piscean Age is just finished and the Aquarian Age is getting started.  We’re here to help be the bridge to enlightenment.

Think of a bridge – it is a structure between two places – and that’s what we are – a bridge between worlds.

So, let’s have it be okay that we don’t belong to the ego structures of this world – we belong to Spirit.  We belong to the Light and that’s an absolutely wonderful thing to realize!
