My intuition is SO helpful to me. I’m getting better and better at listening to the still small voice. It often tells me where to go and what to do and even though it may not make “logical” sense in the moment, I’m learning to trust it more and more and for that I’m so grateful. I have prayed MANY times to be a good follower of guidance.
We all have a connection to the I AM presence which is our own Higher Holy Spirit Self – the Holy Spirit. We’re all receiving excellent insight and guidance perfectly designed for us. We’re receiving this inspiration all of the time. The thing to ask yourself is – are you accepting it?
For several years, I prayed constantly to accept the guidance I was getting. I prayed to allow myself to really receive it. I prayed to listen and follow. I felt that I had so much resistance and reluctance and I knew I was delaying my joy and awakening.
The more I increased my spiritual practice, the more I felt that reluctance falling away. It wasn’t quick and easy. I really had to focus on my desire to be aligned with Truth.
In the process I discovered the inner guru was real.
I discovered for myself that I had what it took to commit to this path.
So often, I would receive a prompt of intuition to not say anything and keep my mouth shut. My ego would have a lot to say and want to rebel against the idea of not speaking up, but my Spirit would prevail and clearly guide me not to say anything. I’ve had many experiences of speaking up and many experiences of not. Through the painful experiences I brought upon myself by not listening, I learned to listen. We learn through contrast. I’d like to be a joyful learner in all things, and in all ways!
My intuition is, quite literally, a Godsend to me. Life without it would be unbearable.
Intuition is that still small voice without opinion or judgment.
Ego always speaks with judgment, complaints, jealousy, guilt, criticism, blame, shame, and giving to get.
If you desire to learn the difference between ego and intuition if you desire. It’s worth your complete attention!!
I came to realize that the teaching was written in my heart and in everyone’s heart. The question became – will you look within? Will you discover that teaching and live it? Your willingness is all that’s required. Your inner guru knows the way if you will trust. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it!
